Church Mission Statement

We want Jesus to be central in our Fellowship and will always endeavour to lift him high, so that everyone may see him in all that we say and do. We will model our fellowship on the Early Church, having those characteristics found in the Acts of the Apostles - particularly Acts 2: 42-47.

To this end we will strive to be:

1. A loving Fellowship

We will devote ourselves to fellowship with God and with one another through Jesus Christ.
1John 1:3

We will seek to meet each others needs and those in our community and beyond.   1John 3: 17

2.   A worshipping Fellowship

We want God to be worshipped both corporately, as a Fellowship and in smaller groups meeting in each others homes, and individually in our daily lives.    Acts 2: 46

Our worship will be both joyful and reverent. Our services will be joyful celebrations of the mighty acts of God through Jesus Christ - Luke 24: 52,53. Bearing in mind the awesomeness of God our services will also recognise the importance of quietness and stillness in his presence.
Psalm 95: 6 & Psalm 96: 9.

In our worship and personal lives we will attempt to exhibit the fruit of the Spirit at all times.
Galatians 5: 22,23

We will ensure all that all we do is firmly grounded in prayer, recognising this to be a vital weapon in our armoury.                            1Thessalonians 5: 17

3  A learning Fellowship

We will ensure that teaching from the Word of God takes place at all levels of our Fellowship, in order that all may grow towards maturity in our Lord Jesus Christ.
Acts 2: 42

4  An evangelistic Fellowship

In all our programmes we will make winning others to Christ a priority and recognise the lessons learnt from Acts 2: 47. i.e. He didn't add them to the Church without saving them and they were being saved on a regular basis.

5    A Spirit-filled Fellowship

As we believe in a triune God we will preach the full gospel including the fullness of the Holy Spirit.
2 Corinthians 13: 14

We will encourage the practise and operation of the gifts of the Spirit in the life of the Fellowship and of the individual believer.
1 Corinthians 12.

Our Fellowship will aim to touch all members of our community, ensuring that there is something for all groups of people. We will also reach out to those beyond our locality both in Britain and overseas.
